100 members of the New York City Gay Men's Chorus shined on the stage of the infamous Carnegie Hall as one set of 'friends' in Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs with Friends. Other friends included Darren Criss, Ricki Lake, and Kristen Chenoweth and featured a play list of pop hits and show tunes from a mash up of "Firework", "Edge of Glory", and "Someone Like You" to classic musical theater songs such as "The Ladies Who Lunch" to the classic standard "If Love Were All".

The occasion marked the release of his newest CD, Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs, recorded live at Cafe Carlyle in 2015, and the launch a nationwide tour of the show. It also marked a remarkable return to the Carnegie Hall stage for the Chorus who helped close the show as part of the finale. Truly an honor.
