High

Wednesday, June 30, 2010 8:00PM

Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, NYU

High is a provocative, funny and unapologetic show designed to get people talking. The evening's centerpiece is the NY premiere of "Through a Glass, Darkly," a 45 minute highly theatrical rock opera about relationships torn apart by crystal meth. Set in recognizable club and bar culture, the show charts the journeys of a central relationship between 3 gay men and the impact of meth on all their lives. This musically innovative piece with a beautiful score packs a punch. High takes the audience on an emotional roller-coaster, ending on a note of hope, healing, self-realization and renewal.

This boundary breaking evening is part of NYCGMC's mission to use song to bring light and discussion to issues that affect our entire community.

Join us for a thirty minute talk back after the show with some organizations leading the way around awareness and prevention.
